On Monday, 26 October 2015, the Town of Walkerville council is hosting a free nbn and IT Community Expo.
Walkerville Expo
There will be three nbn workshop presentations happening from 2:00pm to 2:30pm, 4:00pm to 4:30pm, and 6:00pm to 6:30pm.
One-on-one tutorials on how to do your Council and library business online will also be conducted by volunteers John and Katy Monks who are in charge of running the library’s Tech Tuesday sessions. Visitors can attend these 10-minute tutorial sessions and learn everything from paying rates to reserving the latest bestseller books.
‘Adelaide Techguy’ Richard Pascoe from 5AA will also be present at the event to give 10-minute one-on-one IT tutorials on Windows 10 and answer other technology questions.
Activ8me at the Expo
Richard Arney from Activ8me will be on hand at the Town Hall to help visitors understand options and connect to a superfast nbn Internet service.
The event will provide an opportunity for residents to learn about nbn® Fibre and how to connect.
The nbn® is available in Walkerville, Gilberton, Fitzroy, Medindie and Medindie Gardens, Collinswood, Nailsworth and Prospect.
