As the school break draws near, numerous families eagerly anticipate bonding time, holiday trips, and engaging in enjoyable pursuits. Yet, for Sky Muster users, it's a period that may bring worries about increased internet usage by their children during daytime hours, potentially leading to exhausting monthly Peak data allotments before month's end. This is precisely where the Activ8me School Holiday Bonus Data proves invaluable.

As with previous years, Activ8me will provide an additional 5GB of Peak data each week across the school holidays. This additional bonus data is allocated automatically, so you don’t need to do anything to activate it.

It is allocated in daily allotments (of just over 714MB) to Activ8me Sky Muster® satellite services (excluding Sky Muster Plus).

If this additional data allocation isn’t sufficient, consider changing to a Sky Muster® Plus Premium plan, with no limits on data use*! Premium plans start from $59 per month.

To guarantee uniformity across all customers throughout Australia, rather than offering varying amounts of bonus data for each state, we provide the same bonus data allocation nationwide. This ensures everyone receives an equal bonus data amount, regardless of their location. Consequently, it might not align precisely with the school holiday calendar of your state or territory.

The bonus data can be used for any internet activities during the peak usage periods (7am until 1am local time), for all activities including browsing, streaming, gaming, and video conferencing.

 

When is the bonus data be added to my account?

Each morning, we automatically apply that day’s bonus data. It is allocated in equal daily allocations (5GB divided by 7 days), meaning each day your service receives an additional bonus data allocation of approx. 714MB.

What is the School Holiday Data, and how does it operate?

Throughout school holidays, Activ8me provides an extra 5GB of data per week to all Sky Muster® satellite internet service users. This supplementary data is allocated daily and is designed for children to utilise during their school break, enabling them to maintain connectivity with friends, engage in gaming, and explore online content.

The benefits of the School Holiday bonus data extend beyond just children, as every Activ8me Sky Muster® service receives this additional 5GB weekly data allocation.

When does the data expire?

The data expires at the end of your billing month. This means it doesn’t have to be used each day, it will accumulate (or rollover) until the end of your billing month.

When your new billing month begins, you will no longer have access to the daily data previously added to your account.

If you are unsure what date your new billing month begins, you can find it in the Member’s Area or on one of your previous invoices.
