Heart-warming Tales of Life in Remote Australia
The Royal Flying Doctor Service in association with the Country Women’s Association of Australia have recently published a book entitled a ‘Darn a Good Yarn,‘ a collection of stories, anecdotes, memories, humour, prose and artwork about those “Struth!” moments in the bush.
Activ8me is a Major Partner of the RFDS, and with nearly 20 years’ experience in bush communications we know how good Aussies from the bush are at telling a tale.
The RFDS and CWA have compiled a great read containing over 80 submissions from people around country Australia to create a funny, interesting and heart-warming collection of first-hand experiences of bush life.
It’s a real page turner, with short, funny, easy-to-read yarns about life in the Aussie bush.
The short stories and photos are just as much about historical events as it is about today’s life.
The wit and dry sense of humour employed by everyday Aussies in this book will surprise you, make you laugh out loud, bring joy and maybe shed a tear.
This book is a celebration of the Aussie Spirit, displayed through the good times and the bad.
Being released just in time for the Christmas Holidays, this is a perfect stocking stuffer!
With amazing imagery and illustrations through the book, it makes an excellent coffee-table book or gift for a friend or loved one.
All proceeds from book sales go to both the RFDS and the CWA, so you can be assured your money is going to good causes.
Activ8me would love to help promote ‘Darn A Good Yarn’ to hit the Bestseller List in time for Christmas, so spread the word!
