NBN Co rolling out additional 16,000 broadband in Victoria
September 5, 2014 4:06 amNBN Co, the Australian company tasked to implement the National Broadband Network (NBN) has included an additional 16,000 broadband lines for home and businesses in VIC as a part of the NBN national rollout blueprint. 15,100 lines as a part of the overall blueprint has begun pre-construction parts of Greater Melbourne, Grampians and North East. Also, fixed wireless pre-construction is underway that will deliver broadband service lines to more than 1,000 farms, homes and businesses situated outside metropolitan areas.

According to NBN co, more than 53,700 families and businesses are already enjoying connection to the NBN across the state. While the fixed-line-and fixed wireless footprints pass more than 147,500 premises in Victoria. The growth of NBN services is the pledge of Activ8me’s NBN Broadband plans and services across Victoria.
